Restricted Goods
The following are the rules of Philippine Airlines for restricted goods.
- Electronic board (electric scooter) that operates on lithium batteries cannot be carried onto the aircraft or inside checked baggage from December 21, 2015.
- Please note that anyone carrying restricted goods onto the aircraft will be subject to 2 to 5 years of imprisonment in accordance with Article 44 of the <Aviation Safety and Security Act>.
- The following standards are applied to airports in the Republic of Korea and aircrafts leaving from or arriving in airports in the Americas. In airports overseas, the rules may vary according to the regulations of the country.
- Check-in or carry-on of the following restricted goods is prohibited for passengers leaving from or arriving in airports in the Americas in accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Standards for Liquid Goods
Allowed in the Cabin
on International Flights
The following items including liquid, spray, and gel are strictly forbidden in the cabin.
Passengers using international aircrafts must check whether their articles meet the standards in advance.
- Liquids such as water, beverage, food, and cosmetics, spray, and gel (or cream) must be placed in a 100ml or smaller container, and each passenger is allowed to carry them on in a transparent 1l zipper bag
- For baby food and medicine, only the quantity required during the trip can be carried on
For medical supplies, however, the passenger must present the documentary evidence such as prescription to the security officer
