The following provides information about various other services.

Stretcher Service is provided for passengers with serious physical and health conditions who is incapable of traveling in his or her seat.

How to Use

  • One stretcher is available for each flight.

    Check with Philippine Airlines for availability in your flight.

  • Request at least 7 days in advance.
  • Only provided for economy class. (Not for business class)
  • Prepare MEDIF

  • Passengers who need to complete MEDIF PART ll(such as those who need OXYGEN BOTTLES, STRETCHER, AMBULANCE, etc.) must be signed by a PAL Physician, so please call 1544-1717.
  • The passenger using a stretcher must be accompanied by an escort who can medically or personally help the passenger during departure or arrival.
  • Application Fee : 600% of the regular fare determined by IATA

    Applied uniformly to all passengers regardless of the age and includes the price of two oxygen tanks.

Passengers or challenged persons who need wheelchairs due to mobility difficulties
may use the Wheelchair Service up to the entrance of the aircraft.

How to Use

  • You must request for the service in advance by contacting Philippine Airlines office near you at least 48 hours before boarding.
  • Request a wheelchair at the check-in counter of the airport on the date of departure.
  • Passengers who cannot move at all without the help of a wheelchair must be accompanied by a guardian to be prepared for emergency situations. Such patients shall not board the plane otherwise.
  • Personal wheelchairs can be checked in without additional fees.

    Wheelchairs operating on batteries with the possibility of leading battery solution may be restricted depending on the country of entry.

Seamen who need to board a ship for business purposes must receive an embarkation certificate.

How to Use

  • Must present valid seaman’s book and passport,
    and must receive letter of guarantee from the shipping company or agency.
  • Must receive embarkation permit (OK-Board) in the country of arrival. Must present visa in this case.
If you are travelling with an infant under 24 months of age, check the following.

How to Use

  • Infants may not board within 16 days of birth.
  • An adult passenger can accompany up to only 1 infant.

Charges

  • 10% of regular fair determined by IATA

If the infant turns two years old during the trip and becomes a child

  • The passenger must contact where ticket purchased to secure a seat for the child.
  • Before Departure : Issue the one-way departure ticket for infant and Issue the one-way return ticket for child separately.
  • After Departure : Reissue to child fare return ticket for secured seat - Fees: Applicable to 1/2RT child normal fare on confirmed class

    However, if all seats are taken and it is difficult to find a seat, the passenger may not use the corresponding flight and the accompanying adult passenger may also be rejected.

For Nut Allergy Service, passengers allergic to nuts including peanuts, almonds, and cashews must provide information of such allergies at least 48 hours before the departure date by contacting Philippine Airlines (key number: 1544-1717).
